[DISCUSSION] Official It's ME! discussion thread

Earlier this year SwePlaygirl suggested that we need a music discussion and I agree but instead of creating a separate discussion sections for songs I was thinking we can just do what was done for AMNS  and create official discussion threads for songs. I'm going to kick start this with  Kahi's It's ME! because I've already done it at https://afterschooldaze.forumotion.com/t407p435-info-playgirlz-voter-automated-after-school-voting-and-support-system so it's going to be an easy copy and paste job.

If you have to choose which album to get then Kahi’s second album really is very good!

@intrepid, In my opinion they are both really good. Different people have different taste in music so it's really a matter of opinion. I use to h8 "Comeback You Bad Person" because...well the title made it sounded like a "needy" song...and the song itself sounded like that too. The song is like saying, you really needed that someone so you are begging for them to comeback. I didn't like these concepts or the cute ones(which I consider attention seeking and needy). I usually like the concepts that inspire self empowerment, independence or just upbeat songs...until Kahi graduated and then I was like,

and now that I can identify with "Comeback You Bad Person", I really like it. But "It's ME!" is a totally different story. When I first heard "It's ME!" I was like, HELL YEAH!!! That's my kind of song(Thank you Hanuel a.k.a Rottyful Sky a.k.a Alice Sky<3). I really like the "I'm so bad, girl! I'm so cougar. I'm so sexy, sexy, sexy, girl!" parts. LOL, that is hilarious. Yeah girl, Kahi is so bad and cougar and sexy, sexy, sexy. Btw, Kahi said this is a unisex song in case anyone was wondering LOL. "It's ME!" is about telling people who she is. It's gives off that mix of masculinity and sexiness that is so Kahi, with chicness added to it. The song kind of says "Why don't you see me. I'm saying I'm better than that girlish girl. I'm saying I'm cooler and sexier." and HELL YEAH, I AGREE!!! Why don't people see Kahi? Kahi is better than that girlish girl. Kahi is cooler and sexier. HAHA it's like Kahi knows exactly what I was thinking. I agree "It's ME!" is a master piece

@SwePlaygirl, if you haven't seen Kahi's Let's Dance video on 1theK yet, you should check it out(btw, I still h8 1theK very much). In that video, Kahi does a very good job explaining why I love Kahi and "It's ME!" so much and if you watch it, some of the quotes I've previously wrote probably will make more sense

OK guys, now that you why I love It's ME! What about you? What do you think of the song or its promotion, the lyrics, music e.t.c?

We should have more discussions about After School's musical quality although I'm no expert in music. But I really did and still do love Kahi's It's Me.

It actually really caught me surprised that she came with this concept of music. I mean, I'm not surprised she came up with this kind of concept, because as you mentioned... she's the masculinity, sexy, chic kind of gal.

Like Kahi mentioned, a lot of people including Pledis include me thought she was going to do some more pop music like her first album. But I'm actually glad that she didn't. I think this kind of musicality suits her more. I just hope she releases more music, even if it doesn't sell well. But that's for a different discussion...idols making their own kind of music or doing their own concepts and not having the company pressuring them to the "mainstream" kind of music.

Again, I hope Kahi comes back with new music but I highly doubt it. She's really into doing broadway shows now. Do you know if there's any fancams of her broadway shows (doubt it, because they don't let you record)? I'm pretty sure she's awesome on broadway shows since she's so multi-talented.

I would like that too, but I've been really busy these days and I've been trying to catch up with running man after being on hiatus from running man for over one and a half year.

Again, I hope Kahi comes back with new music but I highly doubt it. She's really into doing broadway shows now.

@xtinevang, I hope she makes a comeback too. Her musical talents (lyricist, choreographer, composer, eternal AS leader, abs etc) are wasted in broadway shows.
