after a brief hiatus I AM BACK!

so i went overseas for holidays over the past months and sort of expended my collection haha.

@captainsprunchz haha yes i did, from hong kong and korea i guess. some were brought back from frens who went to japan !

They're not stickers they're actually photocards. I asked asdaze about them and they said I got lucky cuz I got all threewhen I bought them when I was supposed to get only one.

I put my photocards on top of the respective albums. Except the one with merch on it cuz those square ones were too big to fit on top of it without covering it.

So impressive to see your collections! I just bought my first After School albums yesterday. I won’t tell you how many I bought but you will definitely see the pictures once they arrive. This is the best Christmas present I have bought for myself ever! So excited to join the club of an AS album owner!

Finally my collection is big enough for you to see it! I have some more albums on the way too. The Virgin album I have had for a couple of days but the other ones arrived today. I was so happy to be able to hold my AS poster lol. If I took up to much space let me know and I will fix it.

To give my mother a near heart attack I unfolded evey AS album I now own (Except Bang! JPN that came later) on the floor. I was judged as crazy by her and even if the albums are unfolded I am pretty sure you can all see what they are. The pice at the top is the AS poster that I corped out.

Through barter, trade, Ebay, Amazon, Soompi, and Mwave, 2014 was definitely the heaviest buying for me of After School and Orange Caramel goodies. After 2 careful and pain staking hours of photographing, reorganizing, and re wrapping, I update my collection.

@Marinesquad49 Your collection is seriously amazing! So many japanese OC albums and you even have the Playgirlz tour and album! Fantastic job on getting so many photocards and the Happy Pledis albums.

I hope I can buy some more albums this year. Priority is Best Of where I will try to get all four versions and pre-order them as soon as I can. After that I am planning on getting my first OC albums with Catallena and My Copycat. After that I will get AS Red. I would also like the remaining Japanese albums I don't have of AS but I am not sure if I can afford them. If I do get a job over the summer then After School's entire Japanese discography will be mine. To add to that I would love to buy some other Pledis albums too but that will be my last priority.

As a general question. Will Pledis still gain money from Hello Venus' first albums before Fantiago took them? Becaus eif that is the case I might consider getting Venus and Would You Like To Stay For Tea.

This is just a guess but since those songs were produced when Hello Venus contracted as a joint partnership between Pledis and Fantiago, they would share any revenue and profits.

I hope Pledis would benefit from any past Hello Venus work, especially now when HV has gained popularity with their sexy concept. New fans could seek out and research the old concept for their collections

I was wondering where did you all get your albums from especially the Japanese ones? I have bought mine from kpopmart, ebay and amazon and I am currently looking into yesasia but I heard they take awhile to ship along with other things? Going on a shopping spree for AS/ OC and Son Dam Bi albums!

Thanks it seems this is the case! I have found three people who thinks so at least so I think they will still benefit from the older albums. I have always liked HV but it took me a while to like their songs except Like A Wave. I am not really a cute music lover but Venus and Would You Like To Stay For Tea has been growing on me. So I think I will buy those albums along with Kahi's both albums.

As it is right now it looks like I am planning my biggest kpop shopping haul so far as I want Catallena, My Copycat, three NU'EST albums, two from Son Dam Bi, AS Red and more! Then I will get all 4 versions of Best Of so how much I will actually be able to buy will come down to the prices. But so far the old HV albums are quite cheap so I hope I can get at least 70% of all the albums I want to get this year. If I can get a job then it would be easy, if I can't then I will still try to buy them all! So far Best Of in all versions is my priority, I am hyped for the photocards!

The bulk the Japanese albums I bought from YesAsia. They have the most selection and in stock quantities. While the shipping took a few weeks, it was free with the order size. One thing to keep in mind though is depending on your country, there could be a foreign transaction fee. Mwave and Soompi do not have those and sometimes offer free shipping as well with bulk ordering but a lot of their After School and Orange Caramel albums are out of stock or scarce in selection.

Amazon prices are steeper than the formerly mentioned. Ebay is a good gauge to see what the going prices are or for more pictures on albums but auctions can get expensive and some of the shady sellers have forged goods

After School - 6th Maxi Single (Lizzy, JooYeon, Uie, Jungah, Raina Versions) I still need Nana, E-Young and Kaeun to complete the set. Also I got 2 un-opened, still wrapped up Lizzy Version, I took a gamble and to complete the set but ended up with 2 Lizzy's LOL


And finally I got a Lizzy card for the 6th Maxi Single before I actually received her member version. I also got Nana and Raina Lipstick card to complete the Lipstick set.

My goal is to also get Jungah's and Jooyeon's. But it would be amazing to have all of them because it is their best albums and I love it so much and the member versions along with a photocard is great! Right now I only have E-young's First Love version. I am trying to get my hands on BEST Mu-Mo version too, I really want that DVD. It has been a while since I updated my collection with pictures here, I might do it later today.

@PlayboyzAdam That's my goal to collect the last 3 to complete the set. Since they are now showing up on ebay much, Im going to have to buy them from places like yesaia.com and hope I randomly get the one's I need. I'm completely expecting to have doubles or triples or more before the set is complete LOL. At least this way it still get counted for the sales, right?

@SwePlaygirl I got pretty lucky with the Shh Mu-Mo versions, found them on ebay. I believe I'm done collecting the Korean albums for both AS and OC. So now, my focus is towards the Japanese albums (All versions). For some reason I completely space on BEST Mu-Mo version, I got the other 3 versions. OK, adding that to my list.
